Kit consists of 1kg of PART A and 1kg of PART B
Total kit volume 1.84 Litres
PART A is a cream liquid and PART B is a clear liquid that have virtually no odour. Once mixed the material is poured into the mould which is rotated to slush the material around as it reacts to form a tough, non-brittle, impact resistant, semi-rigid, hollow plastic casting ivory white in colour.
The colour of the cured plastic can be changed with the addition of a colour pigment to part A prior to mixing the two components. We have a range of compatible colour pigments here
If cast in thin sections the cured material can be bent and flexed making it excellent for delicate prototypes, scale models, toys and producing detailed decorative objects etc.
Available in two different versions, a fast 3-4 minute pot life and a slow cure 10-12 minute pot life.
This product has a simple mixing ratio of 1:1 by weight. Please note the two liquids have different densities hence different volumes which is why the mixing ratio is equal parts by weight not volume.
Both liquid mixtures have a low viscosity enabling it to flow in fine details and deep undercuts whilst also minimizing bubbles.
The fast version has the slightly lower viscosity of the two. The slow version is slightly softer and the most flexible with the fast version being 30% stiffer and 50% stronger in flexural strength. Please view the table at the bottom of this listing for the full technical specifications.
